CATHERINE ADAMS
LEGAL EXPERIENCE
Catherine Adams is an experienced litigation attorney. Catherine M. Adams is a member of the firm's Litigation Department and focuses her practice in real property law, including construction defects, landlord/tenant issues and premises liability. Ms. Adams also has experience in the areas of personal injury, automobile liability, products liability, general business, contract, insurance and commercial litigation. She has worked successfully for both defendants and plaintiffs.
Ms. Adams started her legal career in Los Angeles, California in 1980, working in the area of products liability and real property litigation. From there, she moved into personal injury and insurance litigation. Since then, in addition to personal injury cases, she has been involved in litigating numerous cases in virtually every area of litigation throughout California, representing one nationwide business in its California litigation, and most recently representing small and medium sized businesses including contractors, developers, landlords, mortgage brokers and automobile dealers in areas involving contracts, insurance, employment, landlord tenant, collections, construction defects and real property issues. She has successfully tried and arbitrated a number of cases. She obtained a jury verdict in 2008 for over $500,000.00 for a private contractor in a construction matter which involved construction defects.
She recently relocated to the South Bay and joined the Menekshe Law Firm in August, 2009.
EDUCATION
Ms. Adams received her J.D. from the University of Southern California Law Center in 1980 and her B.A. from the University of Southern California in 1977.
She is admitted to practice in all California and federal courts and is a member of the California Bar Association
